Our family traveled to Vancouver last week to celebrate our oldest son’s graduation from Engineering. They each received an iron ring from a retired engineer during a private function, that apparently bordered on cult like. Not quite Opus Dei or the Priory of Sion, but you get my point. Jonathan leaves fro Australia in June to work for a mining engineering firm, then will be back in the fall to complete a couple of elective courses that apparently slipped through the cracks during his first months of post secondary education a few years ago. Engineering, rugby plus alcohol - a bad mix...
